Erewash Borough Councillor for West Hallam & Dale Abbey Ward
Carol represents West Hallam and Dale Abbey Ward on Erewash Borough Council. She is also the county councillor for Breadsall West Hallam, serving the communities of Breadsall, Little Eaton, Morley, West Hallam and Stanley. First elected to Erewash Borough Council in 2001 and Derbyshire County Council in 2004, Carol served as Leader of Erewash Borough Council from 2017 - 2025 and prior to that was the authority's Deputy Leader for 10 years. She also served two stints as the Cabinet Member for Health and Communities at Derbyshire County Council from 2009 - 2013 and again from 2017 - 2025. Carol is also the Chairman of West Hallam Parish Council.
