Steve Bilbie
Steve has lived in Sandiacre for 56 years and is married with grown up children and a young grandchild. He runs his own successful small business and has a long family history associated with Sandiacre, which he can trace back as far as 1904. Steve has been a Parish Councillor since 1999 and has served on Erewash Borough Council for two periods between 2003 - 2007 and then again from 2011 to the present day. He is proud to represent Sandiacre and would like the opportunity to continue to fight for our area and secure a better deal for all local residents.
Wayne Major
Wayne lives in Sandiacre and is married with a young family. He is Deputy Leader of Erewash Borough Council, Chairman of Sandiacre Parish Council, a governor at Cloudside Academy, a trustee of two local charities and also represents the Village on Derbyshire County Council. He believes that it is very important for elected representatives to live in the area that they represent and like all parents, he wants what's best for his children with good local schools, a nice safe environment and opportunities for when they grow up. He is keen to ensure proper control of traffic congestion through Sandiacre and opposes any move that would increase traffic on our already congested roads. Wayne is proud to live in Sandiacre and wants to continue making the area a safer and more pleasant place to live, work and raise a family.
Tony Sanghera
Tony has lived in Erewash since 1979 and Sandiacre since 1988. He is married with two children who both went to Friesland School and his wife worked in Sandiacre Post Office for many years. He is passionate about helping the local community, always supporting improvements to our parks and open green spaces, to encourage residents, both young and older, to enjoy the outdoors. Tony firmly believes that this benefits the mental health of those living locally. He is also passionate about supporting local business in the area, listening to people and wants to continue to help shape a better Sandiacre going forward. He would love your support to continue representing Sandiacre for the next four years.
