‘Where’s Our Station?’ Ask Local Campaigners

Sunday 14th December 2014 was the day the first train in over 40 years was planned to stop for passengers at the new, publicly funded, Ilkeston Station. To mark the occasion, Prospective MP for Erewash, Maggie Throup; together with Jessica Lee MP and a group of local campaigners came together to ask Derbyshire County Council: ‘Where’s Our Station?’.

Local campaigner and Prospective MP for Erewash Maggie Throup has called on Labour-run Derbyshire County Council to stop playing politics with Ilkeston’s new train station after the authority announced further delays to the project.
