There has been a ‘wow’ transformation of the Old Stable Block from dereliction to state-of-the-art business units in Long Eaton thanks to Government money secured by Former Conservative MP Maggie Throup, working alongside Cllr Carol Hart.
In 2019, under the then Conservative Government, Maggie secured £25 million Town Deal funding and worked with Erewash Borough Council Leader Cllr Carol Hart on spending plans.
The Old Stables Business Centre is the first of a number of projects to be completed with the funding, and undoubtedly will have a positive impact on Long Eaton.
