Pauline Smart on behalf of All Saints Church Sawley and Sawley Methodist Church Said;

“The £300 grant helped tremendously towards the printing of 200 coloured souvenir booklets with all the hymns enclosed plus an acknowledgement page of supporters, printing of flyers/posters, 200 handheld flags for this Songs of Praise village event organised by All Saints Church Sawley and Sawley Methodist Church”

Derbyshire County Councillor Kewal Singh Athwal Said;

“I am delighted to have been able to support the celebrations here in Sawley with this £300 Grantfrom Derbyshire County Council. This was a once in a lifetime event which may never be repeated anywhere in the world, and was fitting that our residents of Sawley were so enthused and dedicated in celebrating this momentous occasion”
