Losing Erewash as the name of our Constituency and Association.
You might have see the article from our MP Maggie Throup regarding the independent Boundary Commission for England recommendation to change our name.
The Commission has made no recommendations to change our boundaries however they have the power to propose a change of name, something they have done for Erewash.
The Commission which makes recommendations independently, without the involvement of MPs or political parties, announced that it has decided the name “Erewash” should be changed to “Ilkeston and Long Eaton.”
