County Councillors Flatley and King Support Ilkeston Community Projects during COVID-19 Lockdown

The last few months have been challenging for Ilkeston but the community has pulled through starting up many great initiatives and schemes to support the vulnerable and struggling residents of Ilkeston. County Councillors Robert Flatley and Tony King have supported various community projects over the last few months with a total of over £7500 worth of member's grants to a range of organisations.

This has included Cotmanhay Community Network to assist them in their food parcel scheme and training to support victims of domestic abuse, Deventio Housing Trust to purchase gifts for vulnerable residents, Erewash Sound to help them carry on broadcasting during lockdown and Big Kirk Hallam to assist with running costs for the community centre and to provision of activity boxes to children and young people.
