Maggie Throup welcomes increased funding for school buildings in Erewash

Maggie Throup has welcomed the news that Wilsthorpe Community School will receive funding to improve its school buildings. The Government’s priority school building programme targets schools in most need of repair. This money will be used to ensure that Wilsthorpe Community School has the facilities to deliver the best education, so that pupils can fulfil their potential and get on in life.

‘Where’s Our Station?’ Ask Local Campaigners

Sunday 14th December 2014 was the day the first train in over 40 years was planned to stop for passengers at the new, publicly funded, Ilkeston Station.
