Erewash Conservatives were out and about in Draycott this afternoon talking to local residents and asking their views and opinions on key issues.

Volunteers knocked on doors across the village, engaging in thoughtful, respectful conversations about the issues that matter most to local families — from affordability and public safety to education and small business support.

The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many residents expressing appreciation for the opportunity to speak directly with representatives and have their concerns heard.

Our team was encouraged not only by the strong level of support but also by the constructive feedback we received. These conversations are invaluable in shaping our policy priorities and ensuring our platform reflects the real needs of the people we serve.

We remain committed to continuing this outreach in the weeks ahead across all areas of the constituency as we work to build a better future for people in Erewash.
