September Soirée: An Evening with Wendy Morton MP
Erewash Conservatives, together with Mid Derbyshire and Derby City Conservatives, are delighted to invite members and supporters to a very special September Soirée with Wendy Morton MP on Friday 18 September 2026.
Taking place in the beautiful home and gardens of Cllr Carol Hart at The Firs, 172 High Lane East, West Hallam, DE7 6HJ, the evening will provide an opportunity to enjoy good company, drinks and canapés in relaxed surroundings.
Our special guest for the evening will be The Rt Hon Wendy Morton MP, Member of Parliament for Aldridge-Brownhills, who will join us for what promises to be an enjoyable evening of conversation and political discussion.
Wendy has represented Aldridge-Brownhills in Parliament since 2015 and has held a number of senior positions during more than a decade in the House of Commons. Her previous Government roles include Assistant Government Whip, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice, Minister for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, Minister of State for Transport and Government Chief Whip. She currently serves on the Conservative front bench as a Shadow Minister in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
Guests are invited to arrive from 5.30pm, with the evening beginning at 6.00pm.
Tickets
Tickets are £20 per person when booked by 1 September.
Following the early-bird deadline, tickets will be £24 per person.
Places are limited, so we would encourage those wishing to attend to book early.
