The Erewash Conservatives’ Long Eaton Branch are delighted to invite you to An Evening with Lord (Philip) Norton of Louth, one of the UK’s foremost authorities on Parliament.
The event will take place on Thursday 26th February 2026, starting at 7.00pm, at The Moorlands Club, Curzon Street, Long Eaton (NG10 4FL).
Lord Norton has been described as the UK’s greatest living expert on Parliament. During the evening, he will share his knowledge and insights on two fascinating subjects: life in the House of Lords and Margaret Thatcher.
He is the author or editor of 36 books, including Governing Britain, The 1922 Committee: Power Behind the Scenes, and The British Polity and Politics UK (with Bill Jones). Elevated to the peerage in 1998, Lord Norton is Professor of Government at the University of Hull and sits in the House of Lords as Lord Norton of Louth.
Guests will enjoy a buffet supper with dessert, and there will also be a raffle during the evening. Tickets are £15 per person, with an early bird price of £12.50 available for places reserved by 14th February.
To reserve your place, please contact Donna on Tel/Text: 0773 980 3964 or by email at [email protected].
The Long Eaton Branch are truly honoured to welcome Lord Norton and hope you will be able to join them for this special fundraising event.
