The postponed 2024 Erewash Annual Dinner will be held on Friday 31st January 2025 in the Pavilion Suite at Morley Hayes, Morley, Derby. We are very fortunate in having as our guest speaker David Simmonds CBE MP, who in the last reshuffle was promoted to shadow Minister of Sate for Housing and Local Government and made Senior Opposition Whip in the House. Both Housing and Local Government will be a very `hot controversial` topics. not only within the next few months but for the remainder of this Parliamentary term. Some of the longer term members will remember David, as the Erewash Conservative candidate in the 2005 General Election. He is currently the Member for the Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner Constituency.
